A day of discovery in Provence

Self-guided audio tour of the Lavender Museum

Opening hours: 10:00 am–12:00 pm and 2:00 pm–5:00 pm

Discover the museum at your own pace with an audio guide available in 11 languages. From the moment you arrive, our team helps you get started with a leaflet and audio guide (children receive a fun quiz). Along the route, learn the botanical differences between fine lavender, spike lavender and lavandin, watch a 10-minute documentary filmed on the Château du Bois lavender estate, and follow 25 key points in the exhibition rooms tracing the story of lavender in Provence. The visit ends with the opportunity to smell and try fine lavender essential oil from Haute-Provence (AOP), niche perfumes and organic cosmetics, plus herbal tea tastings in the shop.

From 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm – Lavender sachet workshop for children

A creative workshop specially designed for children. They make and personalise their own lavender sachet by choosing the fabric, ribbon and a mix of aromatic plants. A fun and educational family activity in Provence, with a scented souvenir to take home.
