Documentary film in a screening room

Did you miss the flowering season this year?

No worries – you can see our lavender fields in bloom and learn all about the distillation process for its precious oil thanks to the documentary, shown just like at the cinema!
Filmed on the lavender estate of the Lavender Museum at an altitude of 1,100 metres in the middle of July, you’ll experience the distillation process first-hand and become an expert on how aromatic essential oils are extracted.

In a comfortable screening room with 64 seats, visitors can watch the mechanical harvesting carried out by Clier tractors (Clier company based in Malaucène), the harvesting and distillation of fine lavender carried out on the Le Château du Bois lavender estate in Lagarde d’Apt (at an altitude of 1,100 metres), owned by the Lincelé family.

Film duration: 10 minutes.

A special experience for visitors to the Museum.
